Welcome to the internet home of the Texas High School football officials from Abilene, Texas, the "Friendly Frontier". Here you will find current information about the Abilene Football Chapter, the Texas Association of Sports Officials (TASO), current NCAA football rules, and other topics relating to all levels of football officiating.
The Abilene Football Chapter meets each Tuesday evening from July through November at the Patty Hanks Shelton School of Nursing Conference Center located on north Hickory Street, just one block south of Ambler Street and the entrance to Hardin Simmons University. The New Members training session begins at 6:00pm and the Scheduled Regular Meeting begins at 6:30pm. Meetings are open to anyone with an interest in Texas High School football. We are always recruiting new members and invite you to join our organization and be a participant in Texas High School football.
